Sonic Art has been involved in the maintenance, repair and upgrade of Oracle Turntables for many years. We have rebuilt many Mark I & II tables to Mark V specs of various degrees, with excellent results sonically and visually. We also produce custom parts not available any more, and manufacture items like CNC machined Acrylic bases, replacement motor kits from Origin Live for upgrading to a DC motor kit, etc. One popular modification is for those who have damaged or incomplete control panels. When machining the acrylic base we omit the grooves and mounting holes at the front edge, and rewire the switch system into an outboard extruded alloy case, not only does your Oracle continue to function as intended but the looks are improved immensely with a clean uncluttered chassis!
