VINYL LINK DIN Tonearm cable

We are great believers in Analogue Audio and have been producing custom cable looms and rewiring tonearms since the late 90’s. Sonic Art produces a range of high performance Cable assemblies for tonearms known as the VINYL LINK range.

The VINYL LINK tonearm cable is made from a high quality commercial Japanese made cable with hi purity annealed OFC conductors. Conductors are insulated with irradiated polyethylene which results in a low capacitance cable that exhibits excellent frequency response. The conductors are orientated  and twisted for low noise and damped with natural fillers. The conductor assembly is covered in a heavy braided copper shield which offers 95%+ shielding, and insulated with a flexible pvc jacket. The DIN plug is custom made by Sonic Art. It features a Cardas MALE pin section comprised of teflon encased gold plated copper alloy pins, this is fitted to a custom machined alloy body we make in-house, it is made to fit GRACE tonearms which have the female plug in the arm base. Wiring is specific to GRACE tonearms and is not the same as a regular DIN connection. We can make the cable with other orientations if required, just email us!

Wire: Japanese multicore hi-purity annealed OFC conductors with irradiated polyethylene dielectric. Natural fibre damping and heavy braided shield.

Terminations: Custom Sonic Art Alloy Male DIN plug with Cardas Teflon insert, Sonic Art Silver Line RCA plugs.

Sonic Art Cables require 100+ hours of use before reaching full performance.
