The SHUGUANG 6SN7GT is an old stock milspec tube made by the original Shuguang factory in China before it was closed in 2019 (relocation has not happened and looks unlikely now with key staff moving on). These tubes are spoken of very favorably, they have a balanced detailed & sweet sound with low noise levels.
We test every one of these tubes in the gain stage of a Schiit FREYA preamp, run for 24 hours then listened to for noise and stereo balance, if you are ordering a pair we will match them up based on audible balance and soundstaging. As they are not expensive our supplier does not test match them but our experience is they sound very even when paired up into a pre-amplifier.
